For our younger warriors read on and discover KickStart, our unqiuely designed programme that focusses on physical & emotional intelligence, motorskill development and positive core values.

Jiu Jitsu Their Development

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic martial art that does not use striking for self-defence, but allows children to experience physical contact, and seld-control in resistive stiuations.

Essentially we teach them to manipulate their opponents balance and grips so that they cannot attack.

All our classes use the constraints led approach to learning which focusses on games play as the primary method for delivering the concepts of and developing skill in BJJ.

Currently we offer a limited programme out of our Cockermouth Dojo that runs on Sunday at 5pm.
